Spring Additions and Updates at DK
We've kept the month of April exciting at DK Hair. We introduced two new styling gels
from Bumble and Bumble, Bb Gel and Gellac. Both are great and long awaited additons to the styling line. Different from each other with unique and amazing capabilities for modern looks. Please ask your stylist for for details. Secondly we are Proud to bring L 'Oreal Powerdose Treatments onto our menu of services, which will make anyones hair look and feel like a million bucks without spending a fortune, your stylist can help choose one that is best for you.
Our TTI, (Third Thusday Inspiration) class this month was great as well, being that our haircutting stylists worked closely with DK colorists to create great end results for the chosen hair models. Look for the before and after pictures for that class. They were great improvements and a lot of fun.

Third Thursday Inspiration (TTI)
We've been honing our skills and creativity with our in-house education every third thursday of the month. With February being a festive month, we incorporated Mardi Gras into our styling class.
Each stylist blindly chose a bag of party adornments in which they incorporated into their models' finished look. Here are photos from this shoot that wrapped up the class, we ended up with great results!

New 2009 blogspot by Ray and Tina
Ray and Tina (dk hair's network educators) are now taking over dk hair's blog. We will be updating the blog twice a month keeping everyone updated on our upcoming events and calendar. Look for photos from our monthly TTI class (third thursday inspiration) as well as new features, spotlights and updates. Our upcoming "Found Objects" class will be sure to inspire our stylists by incorporating styling products and props for a very creative, finished look. Courage has been practicing massage and shiatsu massage professionally for over 12 years. He graduated from the School of Healing Arts in San Diego in 1996 and continued his studies as an intern in the Zen-Touch Practitioner/Instructor program for 9 years. He went on to instruct Zen-Touch Shiatsu for 5 years and instructed Tai Chi and Chi Gong for 2 years.
He offers personalized massage therapy, integrating therapeutic applications of deep tissue, shiatsu, ayervedic, trigger point therapy, parasympathetic relaxation, and zen-touch shiatsu sessions.
Zen-Touch is an amazing experience! Blending Shiatsu with elements of energy balancing and tai massage, Zen-Touch is practiced on a mat at floor level, allowing the practitioner to move the client into light stretches and passive joint movements along with various hand techniques.
